Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Training
The Black Belt has a full time continuous improvement role, working several cross functional high impact projects and supporting Green Belt projects.
Black Belts need to be able to select and apply the tools and techniques that support a DMAIC or a DFSS approach that is driven by data. Black Belts need to be able to ask the right sort of questions that lead to the root causes of problems and ensure that correct decisions are made and lasting solutions are implemented.
Our typical Black Belt curriculum is 20 days in duration, comprising 4 sessions each of 5 days.
We incorporate several simulations and actual case studies into our training programme for the Black Belts to gain hands on experience of applying Lean Six Sigma.
Our UK open enrolment Lean Six Sigma Black Belt training programme in 2010
will take place in Bristol on the following dates:
Week 1 |
8th - 12th March | Week 1 |
6th - 10th September |
Week 2 |
12th - 16th April | Week 2 |
4th - 8th October |
Week 3 |
10th - 14th May | Week 3 |
1st - 5th November |
Week 4 |
14th - 18th June | Week 4 |
6th - 10th December |
Each session of Black Belt training is separated by 3 weeks when the Black Belts apply their training to their improvement projects. We recommend supporting the Black Belts on their projects in between training sessions and holding stage gate reviews along with leadership and Lean Six Sigma Champions to ensure the DMAIC methodology is being rigorously applied.
